It's strange, having time off and nothing to do with it. For the past thirty years, I've always had a job, or school or something to keep me busy. Not to mention, I'm really not sure what my next job will be, or if I'll have one at all. I can't imagine not working, but I'd have to find a job that would give me time for my baby as well.

Anyway, I'm sure I've said it before, but I will miss all you students next year. I wish you all luck in everything you do. Feel free to write me, if you'd like. I'd love to hear from you all.

You know, if it weren't so unbearably hot, I'd say it was a beautiful day today.

At any rate, I hope my students are working on their revisions. Exams are getting closer, and there's no reason to fail because of laziness. I have faith that all of you can pass with at least an A in this course as long as you put a little work in.

It's strange, starting to pack everything away. I've only been teaching here a year and it already feels like a strange sort of home. Actually, if I'm honest, the strangest thing about this is it will be the first time in a long time that I won't be working with Haus. It's the end of an era, I suppose. An era that I'm not sure I'll miss very much.

At any rate, I've realized that I've been lax on assigning homework this past week. Don't expect that to last. Especially as exams are around the corner.

I have an announcement to make. I will not be coming back to teach next year.

For the past six months I've been going trying artificial insemination in order to get pregnant. For those who don't know what that is, it involves hormonal treatments and a donor. About three months ago, it finally worked. As I'm sure some of you have noticed, I'm pregnant, thanks to Andrew Roberts of Liverpool. Hence why I'm resigning my position as Muggle Studies professor.

As for why I'm telling you all this, I decided it was best to let you know the truth about what was going on instead of letting rumours start up.

That is all.

It's a lovely day, isn't it? Thundereagle, I think I'll be walking down to visit you and my daisies. I hope they're doing well.

5th year students! Have any of you ever heard of the Mozart effect? Well today in class you will. You'll also have a three foot long essay due on it's pros and cons and whether or not it's actually believable.

I'm not going to even mention the events of last week as they're absolutely pathetic and not worth mention.

I hope my seventh year students haven't forgotten their homework as it's due on Monday. And it's quite a large assignment. I understand that other things may seem more important, but if you want to do well in my course, you'll have that on my desk at the beginning of class.

Rain! I really don't know why the rest of you complain about it so much. It's so relaxing. Not to mention it's good for the plants which, in turn is good for us as without plants we wouldn't be able to breathe. Suck it up, people.

By the way, the tables on the ceiling thing? Absolutely brilliant. Well, I thought it was funny at least.

Right, I think that's all. Oh yes! I won't be in my office this evening, so if any 6th years have questions about their assignment should contact me via scroll.
